The Tegia da vaut forest hut, built in 2013 by architect Gion A. Caminada, can be found in Plong Vaschnaus, at the transition from sheep grazing land to the hilly forest area of Ils Aults, west of Domat/Ems. It is a simple building that suits the location and surroundings.

From a distance, only the larch shingle-clad façade of the forest hut can be recognised between the mighty firs and pines of the surrounding forest. It looks as if the hut is hiding in the security of the forest. Its shape is reminiscent of an ark sailing through the sea of fir trees.

The forest hut is primarily used as a classroom in the forest, but can also be hired for events. The Tegia has room for a maximum of 72 people.
