"We only stayed for one day (en route to take the train over the Bernina Pass to Italy) but we loved everything about our stay at the ABC Hotel in Chur. The best thing was the personal welcome and hospitality from all of the staff, but the room, beds and food were all excellent. The best hotel that we have stayed in for some time."

"Couldn’t fault the stay. Great welcome and friendly service throughout. Clean to the point of being sterile!! Excellent bathrooms with very good shower pressure. Large rooms with all the gadgets and amenities. Yeah there’s the odd crack and trivial cosmetic items, but overall wow. And the breakfast with cooked eggs - yes please. And does food & water taste amazing here? Yup!! In fact I will be coming back to Chur and stay a bit longer & explore. Will defo be staying here and so should you. Don’t even bother checking elsewhere."

"If you visit Chur please stay at the ABC Hotel! Wonderful service, beautiful room, bathroom that has the best shower in any hotel I have stayed in worldwide. "From the moment we arrived in Chur nothing disappointed us. The ABC hotel was opposite the train station and required very little effort to carry our suitcases across the road. We were greeted by an amazing receptionist who explained everything regarding the hotel and including recommending the most fabulous restaurant. We were 3 hours early for our check in, but a large airy room with gorgeous views was waiting for us. Our ensuite was clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the windows and blinds opened with the touch of a button. We requested a coffee machine and were given a Nespresso. Due to an early Bernina Express train, we also requested a breakfast to go which incorporated every food group. Chur is charming with plenty of outdoor cafes even in early spring. The receptionist recommended Zunfthaus Rebleuten which was an exceptional Swiss dining restaurant in the oldest house in Chur. Chur has plenty of shops and restaurants"

"I have stayed here many times over the past 15 years or so. Close to the train station, the area is quiet and walking to restaurants and the centre of the city is easy. Rooms are very well furnished and comfortable with air conditioning and windows you can open if you prefer! Breakfast is excellent and available in plenty of time to catch the Bernina Express from the station."

"We were extremely happy with the room and the charming Nina who I booked the room with over the telephone (your website was showing not available). The emails and contact pre-arrival were excellent, as were the personalised touches in the room. We were grateful to be checked in early as requested, by a busy, but friendly gentleman at reception, who also took our keys pleasantly at the end. "We were dealt with very efficiently on our arrival. The room was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast was a very good quality and all available for our early departure. "The location close to the train station was the biggest reason why I chose the hotel. Travelling with 2 small boys, you just want to settle in quickly. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. Checking in was a breeze. We loved the room size and it was so comfortable. The only thing that you may consider is to change the television to a smart tv as the kids would love to watch youtube when getting ready. Breakfast was good and the waitress that served us was so friendly with the kids which is a plus point. Will stay here again in the future as we didn’t have the chance to explore more due to the limited time - had to rush for the Glacier Express the next morning."

"We had 2 nights at ABC Swiss Quality hotel. The staff were lovely and the hotel was so conveniently situated close to the train and bus stations. Close to shops, restaurants and Coop supermarket. Breakfast offered a great variety and Gabi was lovely, attentive and friendly making breakfast a joy. Check in and out was effortless. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Lovely touches of chocolates on pillows on making up room and a thank you note on last night. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"Upon arrival we stood for a very long time. We waited in a crowded area with all ours and others luggage. The checkin was smooth and offered us a bus pass for 1 person. We are a party of 2. We would/could not use the pass anyway. Our room was pleasant. Not fancy very basic for a steep price fir a night. No shampoo or conditioner was offered. The included breakfast offered varied choices. It seemed to fit the needs of anyone. The staff was not friendly or welcoming AT ALL! After a long wait a woman came to the table to inquire about coffee requests. I ordered a cup of coffee. I waited and waited and it wasn’t delivered. I asked the man working and he snapped at me “did you order it”. He seemed very annoyed to have to wait on me. I ordered a coffee with cream (milk). Again I waited for awhile but a coffee was delivered. No milk! I had to flag him down again for the milk. Again I waited while he cleared tables. The woman just seemed to wander aimlessly around the dining room. I got a few sips of the coffee and it was horrible. I just left. I checked out and was hit with a 5.40 charge explained as city fees. This was not the best experience in my travels. I would recommend the hotel for only overnight guests to get on the Bernina Express. No longer stays in the city. Not welcoming or friendly enough to stay longer."

"Step out of the train station, cross the street and it is less than half a block to your left. Clean, Nina at reception was very kind and helpful. Rooms pristine. "I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying overnight in Chur or longer. It's a 5 minute walk from the train station, very conveniently located. Super clean, room is spacious, nicely decorated, quiet, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, shower is so relaxing and best of all, their bedding and mattress are unbelievably comfortable, I woke up feeling great after a journey of 24+ hours. The bed alone is totally worth the stay. I hope to come back one day."
