"We loved out stay at Hotel Stern. The room fit us and out two teenage children very well. A mix of traditional - in the rafters - and modern - all the things that make a room comfortable - room. "Very lovely stay, hotel was wonderful experiencing the fire works over new year was an added bonus hotel was beautiful. My only little point was to make was we had a very early start and didn't have time to have breakfast. We went to the restaurant to pack a little something up to take as half board and was made to feel by a server uncomfortable. Other than that the food and experience was something we would never forget thank you so much."

"We stayed for one night and did the booking over the phone with Mrs. Fromm. She was very friendly and helpful and was there to welcome us when we arrived. The room was big and cozy with a beautiful rustic wooden smell. The breakfast was average however the most disappointing part was the person serving it. Staff interacting with guests should have a training on how to be welcoming and pleasant, especially that it’s the festive holidays season. I hope management can provide such a training."

"Overall, I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at your hotel. The location was ideal, the room was excellent, and I truly enjoyed my time there. I would love to return in the future! Excellent Service and Delicious Graubünden specialities! The dishes are rich in flavour and tradition, though they might feel a bit heavy for some Japanese stomachs. Thankfully, there’s the flexibility to choose à la carte for a lighter option! But, it was great! The service was lovely, and the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. However, accessing the rooftop rooms via stairs might be challenging for elderly guests with large suitcases. For breakfast, I would suggest offering a buffet-style service instead of pre-plated meals, giving guests more options to choose from. That said, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making the stay enjoyable overall. The room is well-equipped, and the inclusion of bathtubs is especially appreciated by Japanese guests, as soaking in a bath is a cherished tradition, particularly for the elderly. Highlighting such features is important when promoting the hotel to Japanese retired tourists, who value comfort and cultural familiarity during their travels! A charming atmosphere that reflects the rich history and culture of the area."

The gift of chocolates travelled with us for the rest of our trip as a reminder of the lovely night in your hotel. The availability of European and international sockets for electrical devices was also good. As the first night in our Swiss holiday, this was a lovely introduction. Reception and breakfast room staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality. Many choices to start the day. Enjoyed the wooden doors and the large room key. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The lift was an added delight. Large room which was very clean . Bathroom amenities were excellent,. Kettle with tea and coffee facilities was great, but no bar fridge may impact on a longer stay than one night. Genteel and friendly atmosphere with Swiss tradition as its base."
