"A very modern cosy and welcoming hotel in the very heart of Chur which has everything a traveller needs: perfect location just across the street from the railway station and bus stops, welcoming and very attentive staff, good breakfast, modern and clean rooms with air conditioning, coffee machine, fridge, super comfortable matress and crispy clean bed linens. A hisoric part of the city is just around the corner with lots of restaurants and small shops. We spent a wonderful week in the ABC and were surprised how quiet it was in the room. The only problem is that the hotel is so popular that it's possible to book it only much in advance."

"As I wrote the hotel is OK but there was a difference between our stay on 23.July 2026 and 4th August 2026 Om 23rd July we had room 506 , a large room with bath and shower! On august 4th we had room 209 , much smaller surface, and only shower! What we cannot understand is that for such a difference in surface we had to pay the same price. Your reception explained that both rooms belong to the same class but still you can hopefully understand that we left your hotel with an unsatisfied feeling as room 209 is more limited also respecting furniture! We come to your hotel since 2023 and every time you gave us a large room and were satisfied. Therefore we rate you now a 6"

"Stayed 4 nights….arriving in Chur with the Glacier Express we were ready for a relaxing evening….located a very short walk from the Bahnhofplatz was just what we needed. Check in Smooth, Polite and efficient… Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable…very efficient double or perhaps even triple glazing eliminated any noise for the street etc. Super Breakfasts…with delicious fresh produce… We found excellent restaurants only a short walking distance from the hotel for our evening meals. Chur is a beautiful town with lots of Historic buildings , well worth a visit…perfect for catching either the Bernina or Glacier Express trains…easily accessible from Zurich by train. All in all a really nice hotel in a good location."

"Upon checking in the front desk stopped us and asked about the 2 kids (11 yo and 4 yo) told me I would need to pay an additional $40 FR because my "extra" child would be staying in the room and they would be eating breakfast. We had 2 rooms booked (my parents) I told them I would put one kid in their room. They said it was because of the breakfast. Which i did NOT eat. Next morning while checking out the front desk told me I owed for the child. I proceeded to tell them I did not eat and she told me it was not because of the breakfast? There was a line of people waiting to checkout so paid and left. This extra charge is absolutely ridiculous. i can understand if one is putting ADULTS in a room. But when it's your 2 kids? That DO NOT eat $40 FR of breakfast and I didn't even eat..."

"We were greeted by staff that were genuinely friendly. The location in proximity to the train station is very convenient. There was a welcome chocolate on our pillows. The bathroom had his and her sinks and a very generous size, which my husband and I really appreciated. The breakfast was the best that we were offered while traveling through Switzerland. "We arrived in my hometown Chur and stayed a few days at the ABC Hotel. We didn’t expect much as we are pretty spoiled for very nice hotels in Melbourne/Australia. However we have to say that especially the exceptional service, friendliness and atmosphere was amazing. The rooms were very clean and we every day we got 4 new little water bottles in our fridge! It’s the little things that make a difference…. CarParking at the rear for free and all amenities just around the corner. Outstanding was the service at the buffet. They even went to the nearby bakery to get us our favourite ‘Silserli’ (that’s a bread and it’s sooo yummy 😋 ) as they ran out. Everyone was Super friendly and we appreciated it very much. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. So muess es halt gmacht werda - supi! We highly recommend this place. Thank you/Danka/Merci/Grazie 👍"

"I stayed here for business for 6 nights. My first time in Switzerland and I loved it. Convenient to train station, town center, restaurants, shopping, etc. Room was small but very nice and didn't seem too small once I got settled. AC was lovely, as we were having a heat wave. Breakfast was very nice with friendly staff. My only disappointment was that there was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee. Maybe I had to ask the front desk, but there was no indicator to do that."

"We stayed at the ABC for its' convenience of being close to the station, It was clean & airy (the pillow were not very comfortable). The staff were extremely helpful & happy. The dining room staff were cheerful & very efficient. The hotel was very close to the station for us to get everything easily to both the Bernina Express & the Glacier Express trains. The hotel is functional but not particularly pretty, bedrooms backing onto a car park which was quite noisy in the evenings. However, it didn't spoil our stay with you."

"Hotel ABC exceeded all my expectations. The location was perfect- located just outside the SBB train station. Minutes away from the old town. Staff went above and beyond and were extremely helpful to me. A big plus was that they have DIY laundry service, which was very useful after two weeks of traveling around the country. "We had an extremely disappointing stay. The room was unbearably hot, and the air conditioning unit was faulty and wouldn’t run at all. We contacted reception around 00:30, and although a staff member came up and tried to fix it for about 30 minutes, they were unable to get it working. Unfortunately, that left us with no choice but to endure the heat for the entire night. Opening the window wasn’t a viable option either due to constant noise from taxis and people shouting outside. As a result, we got virtually no sleep. To make matters worse, I asked to speak to a manager at 07:00 the next morning, but they were not available. Considering I was checking out shortly after, it felt like they were avoiding the situation as no one came to apologise or address the issue. This completely ruined the following day, as we were exhausted and unable to function properly. Overall, a very frustrating experience and far below what I would expect."

"Wanted to be near train station and this hotel could not be any closer. We were in a standard room and it was bigger than it appears on hotel website so that was nice surprise. We were in 407 next to elevator which I thought might be noisy but it was very quiet. The bed was comfy although the blankets were too thick and temperature control will only go as low ad 18 so it was a bit warm. Bathroom compact but nicely updated. Front desk and restaurant staff pleasant and the breakfast buffet was better than expected. Too bad we stayed only one night as we would have enjoyed staying longer!"
