"We arrived in my hometown Chur and stayed a few days at the ABC Hotel. We didn’t expect much as we are pretty spoiled for very nice hotels in Melbourne/Australia. However we have to say that especially the exceptional service, friendliness and atmosphere was amazing. The rooms were very clean and we every day we got 4 new little water bottles in our fridge! It’s the little things that make a difference…. CarParking at the rear for free and all amenities just around the corner. Outstanding was the service at the buffet. They even went to the nearby bakery to get us our favourite ‘Silserli’ (that’s a bread and it’s sooo yummy 😋 ) as they ran out. Everyone was Super friendly and we appreciated it very much. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. So muess es halt gmacht werda - supi! We highly recommend this place. Thank you/Danka/Merci/Grazie 👍"

"I stayed here for business for 6 nights. My first time in Switzerland and I loved it. Convenient to train station, town center, restaurants, shopping, etc. Room was small but very nice and didn't seem too small once I got settled. AC was lovely, as we were having a heat wave. Breakfast was very nice with friendly staff. My only disappointment was that there was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee. Maybe I had to ask the front desk, but there was no indicator to do that."

"We stayed at the ABC for its' convenience of being close to the station, It was clean & airy (the pillow were not very comfortable). The staff were extremely helpful & happy. The dining room staff were cheerful & very efficient. The hotel was very close to the station for us to get everything easily to both the Bernina Express & the Glacier Express trains. The hotel is functional but not particularly pretty, bedrooms backing onto a car park which was quite noisy in the evenings. However, it didn't spoil our stay with you."

We were initially worried as the elevator was next to our room but we heard no noise from it throughout our stay! The room was large and very comfortable, with plenty of storage. "Hotel ABC exceeded all my expectations. The location was perfect- located just outside the SBB train station. Minutes away from the old town. Staff went above and beyond and were extremely helpful to me. A big plus was that they have DIY laundry service, which was very useful after two weeks of traveling around the country. "Jill, who checked us in was also fantastic! I can’t say enough good wishes for this girl. Her understanding and communication with us old Americans was a shear delight. Her constant smile made us feel so welcomed in a foreign country - a bright spot when language is sometimes difficult to convey. "We had an extremely disappointing stay. The room was unbearably hot, and the air conditioning unit was faulty and wouldn’t run at all. We contacted reception around 00:30, and although a staff member came up and tried to fix it for about 30 minutes, they were unable to get it working. Unfortunately, that left us with no choice but to endure the heat for the entire night. Opening the window wasn’t a viable option either due to constant noise from taxis and people shouting outside. As a result, we got virtually no sleep. To make matters worse, I asked to speak to a manager at 07:00 the next morning, but they were not available. Considering I was checking out shortly after, it felt like they were avoiding the situation as no one came to apologise or address the issue. This completely ruined the following day, as we were exhausted and unable to function properly. Overall, a very frustrating experience and far below what I would expect."

"Wanted to be near train station and this hotel could not be any closer. We were in a standard room and it was bigger than it appears on hotel website so that was nice surprise. We were in 407 next to elevator which I thought might be noisy but it was very quiet. The bed was comfy although the blankets were too thick and temperature control will only go as low ad 18 so it was a bit warm. Bathroom compact but nicely updated. Front desk and restaurant staff pleasant and the breakfast buffet was better than expected. Too bad we stayed only one night as we would have enjoyed staying longer!"

"Our one night stay at the Hotel ABC was terrific. The desk clerk was very nice and stored our bags while the room was being made up. The room was large, clean and stylish. I used the workout room which had everything I needed. Workout rooms are less common in Europe than the U.S., so having one was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was wonderful: many choices, pleasant servers, as nd the best cappuccino of our trip. Chur is a pleasant, somewhat overlooked destination in Eastern Switzerland. Switzerland is very expensive, but the rate we paid was reasonable by Swiss standards. The location across from the train station was very convenient. The Bahnhofstrasse was around the corner. We loved the cafe just steps away from the front door. The only minor drawback was that the bathroom was a little small for a superior room at a four star hotel. More counter space would be very welcome. Highly recommend. Danke!"

"Dear Team at ABC Swiss Quality Hotel, I wanted to write and sincerely thank you for such a wonderful stay at your hotel. Our experience truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Starting with the location, being so close to the station was incredibly convenient for us, especially since we were traveling with senior citizens and a baby. It made our journey much easier and more comfortable. The rooms were very spacious, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. We also want to especially appreciate the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful and kind to us. In fact, the entire staff was warm, courteous, and welcoming throughout our stay. The team at breakfast was also exceptionally sweet and friendly, which made our mornings even more pleasant. We also loved the thoughtful welcome note waiting for us when we arrived — it added such a lovely personal touch and immediately made us feel at home. We genuinely loved our stay at your hotel. Our only regret is that we stayed for just one night! The next time we visit Chur, we will certainly plan a much longer stay with you. "A good hotel inn middle of Chur, close to train station, city centre, cultural attraction and great restaurants. The hotel is quiet and you can sleep with window open. High standard room and a great breakfast. Friendly staff and an information letter of the expected weather and activities in area. You will not regret it."

"We picked this hotel because of its location and reviews from other travellers. Our room was spacious and well equipped with numerous mod-cons, some of which we probably missed. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was close enough to the train station that I could have almost tripped over at the entrance and fallen onto the station platform. Even in such close proximity to the trains and with some temporary construction round the corner, the room was quiet. Ideal for the train station and in our case, the Bernina Express, it is also close to restuarants, cafes and shops. The staff here are great, everyone we met was friendly, helpful and courteous. The breakfast options were extensive and of high quality. Sometimes it is too easy to over-egg a review of somewhere you enjoyed staying at but in this case all praise is deserved."
