Culinary tour «Pleasure hike Dreibündenstein»

The alpine town is the starting point for the incomparably beautiful panoramic hike from Chur's local mountain Brambrüesch over the Dreibündenstein to the beautiful mountain village Feldis. At the highest point, the historic Dreibündenstein with breathtaking panoramic round view, the time is perfect for a stopover. Enjoy the products from the Chur picnic-bag and together with this wonderful panorama.

Good to know: The mountain railroad ride to Brambrüesch, the descent from Feldis to Rhäzüns and the return trip with the Rhaetian Railway or the Chur Bus from Rhäzüns to Chur are included in the price, as is the Chur picnic-bag.

Arrival information

Starting point:
The starting point of this tour is the valley station of the Chur-Dreibündenstein cable cars (Kasernenstrasse 15, 7000 Chur). This is a non-guided tour. 

Arrival by public transport:
You arrive by train or bus to Chur main station. From the train station in Chur you travel with bus line 1, 10, 11 or 12 to the station "Chur, Brambrüeschbahn/Stadthalle". The bus ticket is not included in the price.

Arrival by private car:
Leave the highway exit Chur Süd and drive into town. Continue straight ahead at the three roundabouts and at the end of Kasernenstrasse you will find the valley station with a large parking place. The parking place is subject to charges.

Round trip ticket
Upon presentation of the voucher, you will receive the valid round trip ticket as well as the Churer picnic-bag at the ticket office of the Chur-Brambrüesch mountain cablecar.

Start time: between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Duration: approx. half a day, of which approx. 3 1/2 hours hiking time (by using chairlift from Mutta to Feldis) or approx. 4 hours hiking time (by hiking to Feldis)

Important: Please stick to the start time. Otherwise it cannot be guaranteed that you will arrive back in Feldis in time for the closing time of the mountain railroads.

Route: Brambrüesch - Spundis - Furggabüel - Dreibündenstein - mountain station Mutta - Feldis -  Rhäzüns - Chur 

• The tour is suitable for the entire family, but it is not suitable for strollers! It is therefore important, that the children can manage the hiking time of about 4 hours independently.
• The price adjustment of the tour is for the mountain railway ride, but not for the contents of the Churer picnic-bag.
• Bring enough drinks with you on the tour, as you will not be able to obtain this during the tour.
• Take a pocket knife or a small kitchen knife with you, so that you can also portion the products from the Churer picnic-bag.
