"This hotel is truly exceptional. We received an outstanding experience from beginning to end. I was travelling with 2 elderly and reduced mobility parents and my young son. We were allocated interconnecting rooms with balconies. Absolutely perfect and very much appreciated. The room itself was perfect . Thank you we will definitely be back. Breakfast was fab!"

"Interesting situation at the breakfast buffet. The responsible lady seems to bring forward the old products (cheese etc.) for the guests in order to keep the fresh ones for the employees having breakfast after the guests. And when the chef is present she cleans the tables, otherwise not. We only once had a similar experience at another IBIS (in Hamburg, years ago), where a kitchen employee used up all the hot water at the coffee machine to prewarm her cup, leaving the guests without hot water. May you should better supervise your people or choose people who are intrinsically motivated?"

"1.evening /night receptionist working alone and overwhelmed. There should have been another person. His English was not not the best. He tried so hard but did not understand things we asked. There were four or five guests waiting to check in. He was polite but the whole process was frustrating. 2. There was a bump from rhe hall to the room- small but dangerous for elderly people. 3. First impression was that the one carpet was dirty, with cigarette burns. Then we realized it was the carpet design . Yuck. Definitely not a good first impression of the room. 4. ANTS,!!!! LITTLE ONES THAT WOULD CRAWL AND INVESTIGATE EVERY SURFACE! POPPING UP ON VARIOUS SURFACES OF THE ROOM! Even on the stand by the bed. We did report this to the poor receptionist but he didn't really seem to know what to do except report it or sweep the room at 11 at night. We were exhausted from a long trip so we pulled the bed about 5 inches from the wall, made sure nothing was on surfaces and fell into bed, leaving the bathroom light on hoping ants would meander there. We thought we would hear from the front desk in the morning but we couldn't hang around all day. When we came back there was no contact from hotel management and we again squished ants and fell into bed . 5. We checked out early, and talked to front desk. Management knew NOTHING about our complaints.! They offered a free breakfast. We just left and got a much better breakfast downtown. I have stayed in varios ibis in different places and different cities and I have ha great experiences. This one was the pits. I have 5 days in Stockholm waiting for me and I hope that hotel is up to the standards of the ibis/Accor hotels."

"The hotel is near the town and the main train station where we needed to catch the Bernina Express the next day. You have lovely, polite and really helpful staff, both evening and morning team. The air condition unit looks and feels new, so I definitely would recommend especially summer. The only downside is that the room we were given looks really tired and could use a renovation. Been to a lot of Ibis hotels and I’m a bit disappointed at the state of the room including the shower and furnishings. Apart from that, good experience overall."

"Overall the room and service was great. The location and factors outside the hotel's control, not so much. I found that the noise from the apartment complex across the street late into the night was disruptive. More sound proofing for the rooms facing this direction would be a good idea. Access was good with a bus stop just outside and Chur West station a short walk away. The Chur Guest Card provides free access to these services as a guest. The bus takes you straight to Chur main station. The room itself was fine. Well within what is expected for the price point. The staff were fantastic and room service did a great job."

"We stayed in a family room - double plus 2 single sofa beds. Room was airy, spacious enough, comfortable and clean. Annoyingly the lift was out of action for scheduled maintenance and our room was on the 4th floor and we had heavy bags. "I picked this hotel as I know what to expect from Ibis and its good value in an expensive country. It's 20 minutes brisk walk from the station. There is a frequent #1 bus from the hotel to the town centre and Chur station main entrance. If you ask at reception you can get a Chur pass for local discounts and the bus. It's in the commercial area of Chur among offices, car showrooms and plentiful fast food outlets. There is basic bar and breakfast area with a door to an outside seating area. Our rooms were normal Ibis twin rooms but with a balcony. Service was a bit slow as there is only one member of staff looking after reception and the bar. Any transactions using the computer seem to be complicated."

"Friendly staff, relatively less expensive compared to other hotels in Chur (though still VERY expensive for an ibis hotel that is on the city's outskirt). Our room was on maximum heat once we checked in, we had to turn it down and even then, both nights were extremely dry and stuffy, we didn't have a good sleep. The room is poorly ventilated, well-soundproofed against outside noise but not against inside noise (we heard everything that went on in the corridor)."

"It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m a business man who travels a lot to almost every country in Europe and stays in different hotels. This was the best experience I’ve ever had. The receptionist guy was very rude and aggressive. When me and my colleague have arrived at the hotel he was talking in the phone about his personal things and kept us waiting almost 10 minutes. When he hang up the phone and sweared to the person who’s in the other side of the line. When he was registering our data to the computer he didn’t give us accurate information about the room and price. I asked the price 3 times and he said 35$ repeatedly, when he take the payment it was 135$. I couldn’t even cancel the process because I afraid of him that he was going to get angry at me because he aggressively said that the price is 135$ and forced me to pay the bill. And then gave us very bad and small room which was very dirty. I stayed ibis hotels before and this was the worst I’ve ever seen, and will never use ibis or Accor hotels anymore. I’ll spread this experience everywhere like social media, Tripadvisor etc. as much as I can."

"Had only one night in Chur after we took bernina express. It was very near to bus stop which is very convenient. The check in was very easy, the receptionist greet us well. It has a lift, so very convenient for my mother to go to the room. The room has comfortable bed, functional heater. We asked for a kettle, and the kind receptionist sent to us immediately. The television certainly has so many channels, which is great. We had a good night sleep there after long day. Check out is definitely easy, just put the key in the box. We didnt have the opportunity to try the breakfast. Although it is a budget hotel, doesn’t feel that way at all to me. I will certainly stay here again if I came to Chur in the future."

"After checking in via the app, my 4 night booking was summarily cancelled (received an email saying I’d cancelled it when I very definitely hadn’t). Although reinstated on phoning twice, it caused a lot of stress and although the breakfast was offered free as limited compensation, it was far from the best with very limited offers each morning, pastries running out/not available etc and the offer of free parking (we were on the train) was obviously not taken up but also no equivalent offered…all in all, a bit of a stressful experience and not what I’d expect from Accor!"

"The girl on the desk was good, but a bit overrun when we checked in. Being on public transport, the location was too far out of town for us and we weren't offered the complimentary Chur card, which actually iffers free transport into the tiwn centre on the bus. Having recently stayed at several Ibis Styles, the spartan plastic decor was a bit of a come down too."
